Ermoupoli. Miaoulis Square

This webcam is located in the beautiful city of Ermoupoli. The city lies on the Syros island, in the Cyclades island group.

Miaoulis Square, captured by our objective, was called after Andreas Vokos, an admiral and politician who commanded Greek naval forces during the Greek War of Independence (which took place in the beginning of the 19th century).

Today Ermoupoli is a popular sea resort, but, unfortunately, our webcam doesn’t show how beautiful this town is. You will have to check some of our other webcams in the neighborhood to make sure of this statement.
