La Magdeleine. Community Panorama

We are in a small village in northwest Italy. The population of La Magdeleine is only about 100 people. This community is known for being on the popular tourist route, The Road of Mills. During this excursion, tourists can see several ancient mills, which are still functioning.

The camera is installed in one of several hotels in the village. The hotel and restaurant, Albergo Miravidi, offers La Magdeleine guests cozy rooms with excellent views of the Alpine mountains from the window, as well as traditional dishes of the Valle d’Aosta area.

The village is built on a fairly steep slope, so almost every house offers a stunning panorama. The main attraction of the community is the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. It was built here in 1672.

There are many more tourists on a nearby mountainside because a ski resort, Chamois, is there. But, La Magdeleine is attractive for travelers because it’s quiet and peaceful.
