Vilnius. Lithuanian National Philharmonic

We are in the southern part of Vilnius. In some rather dense urban areas, there are real architectural masterpieces, such as the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, which you can see on the screen. Since the sixteenth century, Russian Gostiny Dvor was located in this area and the building of the City Hall, which was turned into the Philharmonic in 1940, was built at the beginning of the twentieth century.

In addition to the City Hall, the St. Petersburg architect Konstantin Koroedov built about forty buildings in Vilnius. Within walking distance to the Philharmonic are other attractions of the Lithuanian capital, such as the town hall, several churches, as well as theaters, galleries and museums.

The camera is installed in one of the city’s best hotels, Ramada Hotel & Suites Vilnius. Its level can be judged by the list of famous guests, among whom were Sting, Enrique Iglesias, Vanessa Mae and many other stars of the world and Russian pop music. There are relatively inexpensive rooms in this five-star hotel; you can get a standard double room for € 130.
