Vilnius. Pilies Street

We can see Pilies, one of the central streets of Vilnius. If you go in the southern direction from the place where the webcam is installed, you will get to the the town hall in just a few minutes.

In the Soviet era, Pilies street was renamed after Maxim Gorky, but in the 1990s, one of the oldest streets of the city got its former name.

The street is literally surrounded by historical sights. Walking distance from The Narutis Hotel is the Pyatnitskaya Church, Vilnius University, St. Nicholas Church, many museums, as well as the historic buildings of Vilnius.
