Castricum. Deining Beach Pavilion
Just an hour drive from the Dutch capital is the resort town Castricum. The locals know it for its beaches. Along the coastline, there are many beach pavilions. This camera is installed on the territory of one of them, Deining an Zee. The pavilion operates 365 days a year, but the main profit comes in the summer. From May to October, Deining is open from 9 am to the last guest.
Several times Deining an Zee was recognized as the sportiest beach pavilion in North Holland. If you are watching this broadcast in the summer months, you can see the dining tables of a summer terrace. In winter, vacationers can enjoy local cuisine, sitting by the fireplace inside the pavilion.
Deining is one of the youngest pavilions in the resort of Castricum. In 1990, it was a small sandwich kiosk, which eventually developed into a full-fledged resort complex, with its own restaurant and rental of beach and sports equipment.
As you can see, the width of the beach can comfortably accommodate hundreds of tourists. All of them come here either by public transport (the nearest stop is a couple of minutes walk from the beach) or in their cars for which there is a large parking lot.
