Secondly, at the entrance to the bay, you can visit the Royal Palace of La Magdalena and the Faro de La Cerda lighthouse. Finally, Santander airport, which in 2015 was renamed, Seve Ballesteros — Santander Airport, after the famous golf player.
The camera shows us the vessels crossing the bay from one bank to the other. In the background of the image, the peaks of Parque Natural Macizo de Peña Cabarga are visible.
Because of man’s influence on the Bay of Santander, its area has been reduced almost two times. Currently, work is under way to restore the ecosystem of the bay.
