Cala Rajada. Port

The eastern city of Mallorca, Cala Ratjada, is one of the largest resorts of the island. The camera on the shore of the Balearic Sea is set in the restaurant, Pasta Paseo Marítimo. Another restaurant of this network is located on the opposite side of the resort, in the Cala Agulla area. It also has a webcam showing the bay and beach of Cala Agulla.

At the bottom of the screen are several tables of local restaurants. They are set right by the sea, so tourists can enjoy local cuisine and a stunning view of Capdepera Point and the port of Cala Ratjada. Despite its modest dimensions, the port you see on the screen is the most developed in the Capdepera area.

Until the 1960s, when the tourism industry was booming in Mallorca, the port had been used by local fishermen. Of course, you can still see several fishing boats in the port, but mostly pleasure boats, yachts, and other vessels for tourists are here.

A picturesque and forested cape in the background of the image has mainly rocky shores. The nearest beach to the port is Cala Gat. It is quite small, so it is always crowded and not very comfortable. It is best to come to this beach in the early morning or late evening.
