Lauterbrunnen. Panorama from Jungfraujoch
The rotary camera next to Jungfraujoch shows us a circular panorama. In the picture, the Swiss flag is proudly fluttering on one of the observation platforms of the mountain. Right behind this platform is the famous railway station, which is the highest in Europe.
Whichever time of year you arrive at Jungfraujoch, snow-capped mountain peaks are always waiting for you. This is not surprising because the camera is installed at an altitude of more than three kilometers above sea level. As you can see, the hiking trails are fenced off from the cliffs with special ropes, nevertheless, one must be extremely attentive during excursions at such heights.
The camera shows several mountain peaks. Besides Jungfraujoch, we can see Matildeshpitze (3,557 meters above sea level), Mönch (4,107 meters), and other mountain peaks.
You can see the panorama from another point, at Jungfraujoch railway station.
