Nový Jičín. Masaryk Square

Webcam on Masaryk Square, in the historical center of Nový Jičín, a town in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the country. The town is located about 30 kilometers from Ostrava.

There are many tourist attractions located right on Masaryk Square. The picturesque arcades of the Renaissance and Baroque houses have been repaired and restored over the centuries.

Among the most famous monuments on the square are the Green Tree corner house, the two-storey house called the “Old Post Office”, the House of the White Angel and General Laudon’s house. The Plague Column and a stone fountain can be seen standing in the center of the Square.
