Pho Kao Ton. Bridge over the Lopburi River

We can see a bridge in the vicinity of the administrative center of Lopburi province, in Pho Kao Ton. The bridge connects the western and eastern parts of the district, divided by the Lopburi River.

On the other side of the river, where the camera is installed, are local attractions, such as Buddhist temples of Wat Pho Ngam and Wat Pho Thep Prasit. The main administrative buildings of the Pho Kao Ton district, such as the city hall and the police station, are located here.

Tourists who come to this district of Lopburi province can stay on the east bank of the river, at The Little Lopburi Village. Accommodation there costs $40 per day.

In Lopburi, you can find not only modern churches but also buildings of the last millennium, as the history of this province began in the 6th century AD, at which time this part of modern Thailand was called Lava.
