Pho Thale. Bridge over the Yom River

This bridge across the Yom River connects the western and eastern parts of the city of Pho Tha Le, in the province of Phici. The city is located 300 kilometers from Bangkok, in the central part of the country. The first settlements appeared here at the beginning of the last millennium, so you can find a lot of monuments of the past, like the famous statue of Buddha, Luang Pho Phet.

In addition to manmade attractions, there are also natural ones, like Lake Buk Si Fai and Utthayan Mueang Kao Pichit National Park.

Since the bridge you see on the screen is the only way to move from one shore of the Yom to another, the main elements of the city’s infrastructure are near it, such as schools, police stations, the Pho Tha Le Administration, the post office and Buddhist temples in the eastern part of the city.
