Braemar. South Exit from the Village
The village of Bremor, a suburban road of which you can see on the screen, is located in Cairngorms National Park, almost in the heart of Scotland. A93 crosses the city (this is where the webcam is installed); it connects the cities of Perth and the coastal Aberdeen.
Bremor was founded on the sites of old settlements in 1870. Documents from the beginning of the last millennium testify to it. According to some information, Malcolm III, the great leader and King of Alba, conducted meetings here.
The main attraction of Bremor is the eponymous castle, built in 1628 by Scottish baron John Erskine. His full name includes the titles 1st Earl of Mar and 6th Lord Erskine. The castle was a hunting lodge and, since 2006, has been undergoing major reconstruction.
Traditional Scottish Highlander Games are held there.
