Železniki. Rudno Ski Resort

Rudno is a Slovenian ski resort. Although, it’s unfair to limit this place to this status only. You can have a great time there, but not only during the ski season. When the snow melts on the slopes of Rudno, it is still full of tourists; snowboards and skis are replaced by backpacks, mountain bikes or trekking poles.

The resort is located not far from Ljubljana (although in general, everything is pretty close in Slovenia), about halfway between the capital and Lake Bled. In summer, you don’t have to travel far in order to take a walk in the hills or mountains, breathe fresh air and have a good time. In fact, each town and even each village has excellent places for walking or biking.
